Workplace and Government

Rideability delivers quality services and programs to achieve excellent outcomes.

We are the only Cycle Education provider in Australia supported by the world leading bike manufacturer Specialised Bicycles. We also have support from Rhino Rack, the industry leaders in bike rack design and manufacturing. We partner with the cycle industries best to ensure our services exceed your expectations.

With the increased awareness of the benefits of healthy and sustainable choices, it is no surprise that employers and policy makers have turned to Rideability as a provider for support to employees and target groups. Our services develop safe cycling skills, increase consumer knowledge about cycling and facilitate customers to be able to cycle regularly and enjoy the health, social and financial benefits of riding a bike.

We do this through a range of different services.

Lunch and Learn

A 50 min service carried out during lunch time. A small fleet of bicycles are brought to site and a table of relevant cycling related products set up. Information flyers such as the ‘Buying the right bike’ consumer guide and a summary of NSW cycling road rules are included. Content includes correct helmet fitting and bike fitting; what bike is right for you; steps to go through before you go for a bike ride; route planning and basic bike maintenance. Catering is also included from our sponsor Thoroughbred Bakeries.

Try a bike day

Our fleet of Specialised bikes and helmets brought to your workplace for employees to enjoy in their lunch break. Information flyers and a sample table topped with relevant cycling related products is included. Benefit from the increased productivity post lunch time!

Cycling Skills Workshops

Working to a ratio of 1:15, RideAbility instructors work with employees to learn and refine cycling skills to ensure their commute to work or cycle experiences are safe and enjoyable. All equipment is brought to site. The workshop includes bike set up, luggage options, controlled braking and route planning tips.

Bike Fleet Maintenance

We take care of your bike fleet investment by coming to your work site to carry out all essential maintenance and safety checks. Each bike will be logged and tracked with all works recorded in your personal bike maintenance log. Regular services to your bike fleet will ensure your bikes ‘roll for longer’ and give you piece of mind that your employees are safe.

Family Fun Days

We help put the fun in your Family Fun Days. We conduct cycle skills workshops and cycle obstacle courses to not only entertain the kids but give them vital safety skills for when they are out and about on their bikes. A small fleet of balance bikes and standard bikes are included in this service. All equipment is brought to site.

I just attended a bike riding awareness course with Rideability in association with my workplace.  This was fantastic 1 hour course and well worth the time. Friendly and professional instructors; hands on experience with quality equipment used to learn on. I am feeling far happier with my skills, knowledge and ability to commute with motorists! Thank you.

We have engaged Rideability to support council in delivering active transport and cycle skills workshops.  The workshops receive fantastic feedback from participants and have been a popular service with commuters and families.  The staff are very professional and the content is delivered in a supportive and engaging manner.  Rideability provide bikes and handouts as part of the service.  I highly recommend Rideability to other LGA’s looking for support with their road safety and cycle education strategies.

I wish to thank Rideability for the wonderful job done at our recent Big Bike Bike day.  The staff provided a wonderful service to the families and children  who attended.  Many children participated in the skills courses and had a enjoyable time refining their skills and learning lots about road safety and being safe on their bikes. We will certainly look to engage with Rideability in future projects.
